    Airtel and Reliance Jio's tariff war is getting more and more interesting. Airtel is not leaving any stone unturned to counter RJio's tsunami by offering specially customized plans and packs since the last two months.

    As we are all aware that Reliance Jio's Welcome Offer is valid until December 31, 2016, post this period, the users have to do STV recharge of minimum Rs. 149 to continue having unlimited free calls.

    Recently, Airtel has come up with a similar STV worth Rs. 148 to tackle RJio's 'free voice calls' plan. This new pack offers unlimited Internet-based voice calling tentatively for 1 month. Here's how a prepaid Airtel customer can avail this plan.

    Step 1. Dial A USSD Code

    Firstly, you have to dial USSD Code *121*1# from your Airtel prepaid number.

    Step 2. Press 1

    Once you get to see the pack details on a pop-up message, press 1 to confirm the pack.

    Step 3. Activate the Pack

    Now you'll be asked to activate the pack on your Airtel prepaid number. Press 1 and you'll get a message for the telecom operator showing the deduction of the STV amount from your main balance.

    MyAirtel App Gets Updated

    The new and updated MyAirtel app has a new section called Airtel Apps and many other features. This new version gives you several reasons to download or updated it. Two of them are- new Airtel Dialer section gives you free calling benefits within the network and free 2GB cloud storage space.

    Airtel's V-Fiber Broadband for 100Mbps Speed

    It has been only two days Airtel has brought V-Fiber technology to its broadband service which is believed to speed up the broadband to 100Mbps.

    Under this plan, existing Airtel broadband customers can upgrade to 'V-Fiber' speeds with their current plan and enjoy superfast data speeds at no extra monthly cost. New customers will get three months trial offer with unlimited data benefits.
