BSNL partners with Taxmann Publications launches GSP/ ASP

State owned telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited ( BSNL) has announced GSP (GST Suvidha Provider)/ASP (Application Service providers) in partnership with Taxmann Publications to assist small and medium enterprises (SMEs) as well as large business houses in transitioning to GST.

The telco said that the service will assist SMEs and larger businesses by launching an application software which will record invoices on a computer/handheld device or a smart phone along with all GST compliances like preparation and filing of GST Returns, assistance in generation of GST challans for payment, and send back mismatch invoices.

The service is targeted at remotely located small traders, shopkeepers, and SMEs across India, BSNL further said.

The application software for GST returns filing and compliances have been so designed that even a small businessman with little IT skills can ensure GST compliances on his own. The entrepreneur is not required to depend on any CA or another tax expert for filing returns under GST regime. The service is targeted at remotely located small traders, shopkeepers, and SMEs across India.

To recall, the telco has also announced its partnership with Masters India to launch GST Suvidha Provider Services.

The new solutions can be availed in three categories i.e the Basic Plan (free of cost up to 2,000 invoices), Plus Plan (Rs 1,999 comes with 6000 invoices alongside other benefits) and the Pro Plan (for enterprises).

Beyond 2,000 invoices, there is a charge to be shared between BSNL and service providers like Masters India. That will be offered to those who wish to join hands with BSNL.
