Vodafone launches second free Wi-Fi bus shelter in Gurugram
Vodafone is also providing 20 mins of free Wi-Fi service (operator agnostic) at Dilli Haat (INA Market), Khan Market, Fortis Hospital (Gurugram) and all Vodafone Stores across Delhi/NCR.
India's second largest telecom service provider Vodafone India has announced the launch of its a second free Wi-Fi bus shelter in Gurugram, at Sector 14 bus stop.
This initiative follows the high response to Vodafone's first free Wi-Fi bus shelter at Huda City centre, the company said.
Inviting Delhiites to experience Vodafone's Wi-Fi hospitality at one more convenient location in Gurugram, Alok Verma, Business Head - Delhi/NCR, Vodafone India, said, "Vodafone is committed to supporting the Govt. Of India's Digital India programme and we have been carrying out multiple initiatives in the capital to enable a better connected Delhi/NCR. Citizens have loved our first free Wi-Fi bus shelter at Huda City centre and we are happy to present a second free Wi-Fi bus shelter from Vodafone, for the benefit of all mobile phone users in Gurugram."
Alok Verma said, "This free Wi-Fi service can be availed by all mobile phone users, regardless of which telecom service they are using. Vodafone has made significant investments towards making our Data Strong Network in Delhi/NCR more robust so that we can keep the residents of the circle more seamlessly connected, 24x7. Come, be Vodafone's guest and enjoy free Wi-Fi at two bus shelters in Gurugram, besides Dilli Haat, Khan Market, Fortis Hospital and 296 Vodafone stores across Delhi/NCR."
Both bus stops facilitate free Wi-Fi for up to 20 minutes per day, per user and this free Wi-Fi service can be availed by users of any Indian telecom service provider.
Over the coming months, residents of Delhi/NCR can look forward to more such free Wi-Fi bus shelters powered by Vodafone's Data Strong Network. Vodafone Wi-Fi Hot-spots are also available across 116 prime locations of Delhi-NCR, including popular marketplaces/malls, hospitals, colleges, etc. Vodafone is also providing 20 mins of free Wi-Fi service (operator agnostic) at Dilli Haat (INA Market), Khan Market, Fortis Hospital (Gurugram) and all Vodafone Stores across Delhi/NCR.
Additionally, Vodafone customers can avail up to 10GB of free Wi-Fi quota (for RED Post-paid customers) & free 1GB (for prepaid customers) on recharging with Rs 255 data pack. Customers can check their Wi-Fi pack quota on Wi-Fi section on their My Vodafone App.
