The company has updated its India website with the pricing for residential users, giving potential customers a better idea of what it means to switch to satellite internet in a country where connectivity gaps still exist.

What Starlink Plans Will Cost You in India

Starlink’s residential plan is priced at ₹8,600 per month, and this includes the service fee along with access to the satellite network. Users also need the Starlink hardware kit, which comes in at ₹34,000, and is a necessary part of the setup. Unlike traditional broadband, where the installation is handled by a crew, Starlink’s kit is meant to be plug-and-play. You set it up yourself, point it toward the sky, and the system does the rest.

The plan includes unlimited data, so you’re not dealing with FUP limits or speed throttling. There’s also a 30-day trial, which gives new users enough time to gauge real performance before committing long-term.

The company highlights that the service is designed to work across different weather conditions and is targeting over 99.9 percent uptime. While this is the claim for now, real-world performance will depend on the density of ground stations and satellite coverage once the network is live across India.

Business Plan Still Not Announced

For now, Starlink has only revealed pricing for its residential plan. The Business plan, which usually offers higher speeds and better priority access in other countries, hasn’t been listed yet for India. Those details are expected once the company completes more of its local setup.
