Nothing CMF Phone 2 Design Teased Ahead of Launch in India: Flipkart Availability Confirmed
The CMF Phone 2, the anticipated follow-up to last year's CMF Phone 1, is expected to launch soon with some design modifications. The Nothing subsidiary has started teasing its second-generation handset, revealing what seems to be the rear panel of the CMF Phone 2. According to recent teasers, the phone might feature a new matte finish. Previous reports indicate that it will have a triple rear camera setup.
CMF Phone 2 Design and Features
On Saturday, the smartphone brand shared a glimpse of the rear panel of the alleged CMF Phone 2 on X (formerly Twitter). A short video displays the device with plastic edges and a screw securing the redesigned rear panel. The handset's movement reveals a glossy back with a matte finish. However, the material of this rear panel remains unspecified; it could be plastic or aluminium.

The current model features a polycarbonate back or vegan leather for its blue variant. The teaser also highlights the CMF by Nothing logo at the bottom left corner, which changes appearance based on viewing angles. A recent leak suggests that this phone will include a triple rear camera setup, possibly an upgrade from the 50-megapixel primary and portrait sensors found in Phone 1.
Camera and Accessory Features
An important aspect of the CMF Phone 2 is its Accessory Point system. This feature allows users to attach accessories like a phone stand, card case, or lanyard. Leaks indicate that these accessory supports will continue in this new model. Additionally, hands-on renders suggest an enhanced rear camera module compared to its predecessor.
The upcoming smartphone is anticipated to offer incremental hardware improvements over the first-generation CMF Phone 1. That device boasts a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chip. It also houses a 5,000mAh battery supporting 33W charging. As anticipation builds for its release, enthusiasts are eager to see how these enhancements will impact user experience and performance compared to previous models.
