Realme GT Neo5 SE to Launch on April 3; Here Are All the Details

After days of speculation, Realme has finally announced that its realme GT Neo5 SE will be launched on April 3. The realme GT Neo5 SE will be the company's first smartphone to feature the latest Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC.

As per the teaser images released by realme, the GT Neo5 SE will have a triple camera setup with f/1.79 aperture for the primary camera. The device will come in a color variant called Final Fantasy.

The teaser also indicates that the smartphone will have a 144 Hz 1.5K AMOLED display and a 5,500mAh battery with 100W fast charge support.

The device was seen on the AnTuTu benchmarking site only yesterday. The smartphone bearing model number RMX3700 had 1 million (10 lakh) points, which is the same as those of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. As per the listing, the device will come with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage space.

The smartphone was also spotted on Geekbench recently which also echoed the same sentiment, that the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC on the GT Neo 5 SE is as powerful as the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

Realme GT Neo5 SE Rumored Specifications and Features

Previous rumors have suggested that the smartphone will have a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2772×1240 pixels. It is likely to have peak brightness of up to 1450 nits peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.

As mentioned earlier, the device will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset, possibly paired with an Adreno 725 GPU.

The smartphone is likely to come in several variants of 8/12/16GB of LPDDR5 RAM with 256/512GB/1TB of UFS 3.1 storage space.

The realme GT Neo5 SE will likely boot Android 13 with realme UI 4.0. The smartphone is also likely to have a Dual SIM slot, with both slots for a nano SIM.

For the cameras, the smartphone is rumored to have a triple camera setup with a 64MP rear camera with f/1.79 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, and another 2MP macro camera. For front-facing selfies and videos, the device will feature a 16MP camera at the front.

For audio, the device will come with USB Type-C audio, Stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio. It will have an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Connectivity features will likely include 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS (L1 + L5)/ GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C. The device will run on a 5500mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC fast charging.
