Google releases Developer preview for Wear OS
Google had mentioned that the newly released developer preview is not meant for a regular user rather it is being rolled out for the developers to use.
Google had recently renamed its Android Wear to Wear OS a few days ago. Now Google has something new in the kitty for Wear OS users. After the official rebranding of Android Wear to Wear OS, Google has also released a developer preview for the Wear OS which is based on the Android P platform.
As per some reports from Beebom, Google had mentioned that the newly released developer preview is not meant for a regular user rather it is being rolled out for the developers to use. The report further suggests that the new developer preview brings a set of new changes to Wear OS including a Darker UI theme along with improved battery life and enhanced performance etc.
Other major changes include Wi-Fi restriction during the time when the watch is not connected to any Bluetooth device. The new update also features Limited background activity along with Low-power mode. Further, the Developer preview comes with App restriction in which developers will not be able to create apps on other platforms apart from the official SDK.
