Xiaomi seems to be working on the successor of its popular Mi Band. The images of new wearable, expected to be called Mi Band 1S, have been leaked online. As seen in leaked images, the new Mi Band looks pretty identical to the current model, however it is believed to bring a major update on board.
According to GSMArena, the Mi Band 1S has been found listed in the Taiwanese National Communications Commission. Reportedly, this new variant has been spotted with a heart rate monitor running under the hood. Besides this change, the Mi Band 1S looks identical to its predecessor.
The aluminum cap as well as the three LED lights on the leaked Mi Band look pretty similar to that on the current gen Mi Band. The heart rate monitor, however, has been placed at the bottom to maintain constant contact between device and use's body for measuring heart rate.
Back in April, Xiaomi announced the Mi Band in India at an affordable price of Rs. 999. Last month, the company announced that it has reached a milestone by selling over 6 million Mi Bands worldwide.
Based on the listing in the Taiwanese Communications site, we can just expect that Xiaomi will launch the Mi Band 1S soon. Have a look at the slider below to know more about the next version of Mi Band.
