One of the most awaited device from LG this year is the G3, which is the supposed successor of the company's G2 which was launched last year. The LG G3 has been leaked several times in the past and now what we have come across is the gold-painted variant of the handset, which surely looks very appealing and alluring. However, the image of the retail box for this Gold LG G3 was spotted back in April.
The major highlight of the phone is reportedly said to the 13MP camera with OIS+ stabilization. It will also be able to shoot videos at 4K quality. Moreover, according to GSMArena, a laser beam is also used in the device which will help take better night shots. What is more impressive is the device is the phone's front-facing shooter. LG has used a unique features of its own in the camera which will allow the users to capture selfies by clapping their hands, twisting a finger or speaking a voice command like "Cheese."
The LG G3 is also the first device to use the latest Snapdragon 805 SoC, which is one of the latest products from Qualcomm. In terms of color variants of the device, the handset has already been spotted in Black, White, and Grey casings.
We have already known the basic specs of the device via several leaks and rumors. Thus apart from the ultra slim bezels surrounding the display that was leaked earlier this month, the handset could feature a 5.5 inch display with a QHD resolution (2560 x 1440p). Moreover the display is reportedly said to churn out a massive pixel density of 534ppi.
LG has also re-designed its rear-mounted volume keys and Power/Lock placement in the device and now the device looks more premium. Other rumored specs consist of 3GB of RAM, 32GB (microSD card slot) and 3,000mAh capacity. It is also said that the device will be made water resistant.
There is no word on pricing of the device, but regarding the availability the South Korean smartphone maker will launch the handset on May 27th.
