Microsoft Surface Phone 2 Concept Device Emerges Online [Images]
Inspired by the new Surface 2 device from Microsoft, designers have come up with a collection of new concept images of the long time rumored Surface Phone 2. Since the designer is inspired by the Surface 2 tablet, the handset's case is quite identical to it.
The Redmond-based software giant was rumored to launch the Surface Phone 2 for a very long time but it never happened. Perhaps, acquiring Nokia recently would make the plans turn into reality soon.
Obviously there is no information about the device and the images that have appeared are just the concept images that appeared on the Facebook page of the phone's designer. But the designer notes that it features 7mm thin profile and a 4.7-inch full HD 1080p touchscreen display.
Apart from that MyNokiaBlog says that the smartphone will have a minimal bezel. Further the concept devices shows the microUSB port at the bottom, and the power button and 3.5mm jack at the top. The volume rocker can be seen on the handset's side along with a dedicated camera button. On the back, it sports a camera with flash, along with the Surface logo.
On top of that, it might also feature the latest version of Windows Phone 8.1 OS.
