Google Play Store stops responding on Sony Xperia Z5 post Marshmallow update
Earlier this month Sony started rolling out the Android Marshmallow update onto its Xperia Z5 lineup thereby bringing joy to thousands of users worldwide. Sadly, it seems that the joy didn't last long as Sony Xperia Z5 users have hit the official forum to vent their anger for the recurrent Play Store error after updating their smartphone.

As per multiple post on the Sony's official forum, users who have updated their Xperia Z5 smartphones to the latest build of Marshmallow are facing issues while opening the Google Play Store. Apparently an error message stating that Google Play Store has stopped is popping up now and then on their smartphone screen. In fact, one can't open the Play Store app manually from their updated Sony Xperia Z5 handsets. If the forum posts are to be believed all the smartphone of the Xperia Z5 lineup is plagued by this annoying issue.

Sony has however come out with solution, but this time too some users are still not satisfied. While Sony claims that a minor factory reset post updating the Xperia Z5 will do the trick, a majority of users claim otherwise. Incidentally a solution to this agonizing issue have cropped up in Sony Support Forum.
All you need to do is to plug in your Sony Xperia Z5 smartphone onto your PC or Desktop and head to PC Companion. On opening it you will be required to install Android Marshmallow yet again. This method has apparently solved the problem for a vast majority of users.
