Obi Launches Obi Fox S453, Racoon S401 Smartphones in India: Starts at Rs 4,190
Obi Mobiles promoted by the Ex-Apple chief John Sculley is trying to win over consumers' hearts with the launch of two new affordable smartphones.

Obi on Monday launched two Android-based phones -- the Obi Fox S453 and Racoon S401 in the Indian handset market. Priced at Rs. 5418 and Rs. 4190, the phones are available for purchase online from Indiatimes Shopping and Saholic.

Sporting a 4.5-inch screen (854 x 480) IPS display, the Obi Fox S453 is power-packed with a 1600 mAh battery. It has 5MP rear camera with flash and a 2 MP front camera. The device has 32 GB expandable memory.
The handset is also powered by a 1GHz Dual-Core MediaTek MT6572 processor with Mali 400 GPU, paired with 1GB of RAM, 4GB of ROM and an expandable storage (up to 32GB).
Other highlighted specs of the handset include: Android 4.4 (Kitkat); Dual SIM; 3G; Wi-Fi; Bluetooth; GPS.
The Obi Racoon S401 has a 4-inch IPS display and is packed with a 1500 mAh battery. It is equipped with a 5MP rear camera with flash and 2MP front. It also has a 512MB of RAM and 4 GB ROM (expandable up to 32GB). It is powered by a 1GHz Dual-Core MediaTek MT6572 processor with Mali 400 GPU.
The devices are powered by the latest Android 4.4 (Kitkat) mobile operating system and a dual-core processor. Understanding the budget segment, both phones support dual-SIM capability.
Last month, Obi launched the Crane S550, Leopard S502 and Falcon S451 smartphones in India. Just for the reminder, Obi in July launched its first smartphone in India, the Obi Octopus S520, at Rs. 11,990.
