Zopo Mobile headquartered in Germany has recently launched their latest 6 inch phablet in Indian market at Rs. 18,700. Founded in 2012, the mobile phone manufacturer has started penetrating into the international boundaries. As of now, Zopo has got a number of devices in its pocket like Zopo C3 Pink, ZOPO ZP980, Zopo 950+ and more. Moreover, most of the handsets fall in a mid range category.
Coming back to the lately launched Zopo ZP990, here is a brief rundown on the specs of the handset:
Zopo ZP990 phablet comes packed with a 6 inch screen FHD display and features IPS TFT Multi-touch capacitive Screen offering pixel density of PPI 367. The phablet is powered by 1.5GHz Cortex-A7 quad-core processor with PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU. There is a MT6589T chipset present in the handset. The handset runs on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean OS. Moreover, there is also a presence of 1GB RAM.
In the camera segment, one can find a 13Megapixel rear camera with Auto Focus and LED Flash and there is also a 5.0MP front-facing shooter. The camera is capable of shooting 1080Pixel video at 30fps.
Connectivity options include Dual sim dual standby (WCDMAGSM+GSM), 2G (GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz), 3G (WCDMA 850/2100 MHz), HSDPA (42.2Mbps?HSUPA 11.5Mbps), Micro USB v2.0, Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 b/g/n, WiFi Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, A-GPS. The device also includes Gravity Sensor, Compass and proximity sensor.
The internal storage capacity of the handset is rated at 32 GB ROM which can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card.
Eventually, the Zopo ZP990 is powered by a Li-Polymer 3100 mAh Battery. The zopomobiles site says that buyers will get, Travel Charger, Usb Data Cable, Headphone, Battery and User Manual in the box along with the handset.
Looking at the specs of the handset, the handset surely is a pretty good device. The 6 inch full HD display with a quad core processor makes a pretty tough combination. However, manufacturers like Xolo, Karbonn and Micromax will surely come in the way of this newly launched Zopo ZP990 which falls in the similar price bracket.
