Samsung introduces new accessories with the launch of its new high end smartphones to give consumers more reasons to buy its devices. This year at MWC 2016, the South Korean smartphone giant launched its new flagship smartphones - the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, with an array of interesting accessories accompanying them.
The company has come up with different kinds of cases, game controllers, battery packs, wireless chargers, and more, which seem to be the best ever from the Samsung's kitty. While some of these accessories are made by the company itself, there are others that are made by premium accessory makers, specifically for the Samsung's latest flagships. No matter where these come from, all of these look pretty impressive and user friendly. Seems like, the company is trying to make accessories a fashion statement, by loading these with customized and fancy yet user friendly features that not look pretty but add up to an enhanced user experience of its smartphones.
Here we take a look at the new accessories that made their way to the real world with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S7:
Samsung gives its fitness freak users better and smarter options to adorn on their wrist while they keep track of their fitness. The company introduced it latest smartbands that work like fitness trackers but look like jewelry. The company has introduced these new bands as a part of a new "Charm" line, which includes products that are capable of sending notifications, besides tracking steps. The bands feature 17mAh lithium ion battery that, as per the company's claim, are capable of lasting for up to 18 days even while using LED for notifications.
In order to please the photography lovers, Samsung has introduced new Lens Cover, which essentially is a swappable or exchangeable camera lens with a dedicated cover. The highlight is that the Lens Cover can be attached over the top of the camera on new Galaxy S7 smartphones. The swappable lenses were earlier available from third party accessory makers but now the company expanded its accessory range by launching in house lenses. The Lens Cover, namely Telephoto and Wide Angle lenses, will make the latest Galaxy smartphones' camera experience even better.
Remember the QWERTY keyboard case that was launched with the Galaxy S6+ last year. Well, Samsung has launched an improved Blackberry-style keyboard cover for those who can't get over the hard keyboards on their smartphones. The keyboard case can be used by simply putting it on the bottom of the phone.
Samsung has launched new battery packs with higher power capacity and fast charging capabilities to support the Galaxy S7 smartphones. The new battery backup packs have 5100mAh and 10200mAh capacities, and flaunt sleek design. Moreover, these boast fast charging capabilities as well.
The company also unveiled an improved fast wireless charger set that were introduced with the Note 4. The round wireless chargers can now charge the phones even faster-130 minutes for the Galaxy S7 and 155 minutes for the Galaxy S7 edge. Moreover the fast charger comes with a stand that lets it sit in both landscape as well as portrait, as per your need. The hinge will surely make the charging experience even better than before.
As always, this time as well Samsung has unveiled some brilliant cases with different looks and features, which can protect your phone as well as add glamour to it. The company has introduced a new LED View Cover with LED display and controls via touch interface, a Clear View Cover, an S View Cover, and a leather traditional cases, all of which come in a variety of colour options.
