Apple Lightning to SD card Reader launched at $29 (Rs 1,885 approx.)

Apple has now launched yet another accessory - a Lighting to SD card Reader for its own range of devices. Earlier today the Cupertino giant launched a Battery Case for the Apple iPhone 6S and iPhone 6 at $99 (Rs 6,435).

Apple Lightning to SD card Reader launched

The Apple Lightning to SD Card reader will allow users to download photos and videos from your SD card containing devices including Point and Shoot Cameras, DSLRs, Handy-cams etc. to any of your Apple device. According to the official statement given by Apple the Lightning to SD Card reader supports USB 3.0 standard data transfer speeds in the recently launched iPad Pro.

Furthermore the new accessory from Apple works flawlessly in all the latest gen devices from the company including the iPhone 5 or newer and iPad (3rd gen) or newer. As mentioned above it also supports the Apple iPad Pro.

To use the new Lightning to SD card reader all you have to do is to insert the card onto the reader and connect it to any one of the support Apple device. Following this the device will automatically open the iOS Photos App to allow you to copy, edit, delete or view any of your clicked photos or videos. Supported formats include JPEG and RAW (images) and SD, HD video formats including H.264 and MPEG-4 (videos).
