Currently, there is no information on what this new update will bring to the wireless earbuds because there is no official release by the company so far. It has been suggested that the update will arrive with some bug fixes, and the update will automatically install when a user connects the AirPods with an iOS device.

During the update process, it has been recommended that the AirPods have to be connected with the charging port in charging mode. Besides you also have to keep the wireless earbuds and your iOS device close to each other.

Apple expanded its AirPods lineup with the launch of AirPods Pro in October this year. The device is recently made available in India for sale with a price tag of Rs. 24,900. The newly launched pro variant comes with advanced noise cancellation technology, and the company has also equipped the device with added microphones which are capable of detecting external sound and cancelling them.

The technology is similar to what Beats' new headphones - the Solo Pro comes with, though the size of the AirPods Pro is smaller it works better on them.

"The first microphone is outward-facing and detects external sound to analyze environmental noise. AirPods Pro then create an equivalent anti-noise that cancels out background noise before it reaches the listener's ear." reads Apple Newsroom.
