Epson expands its portfolio with the launch of new InkTank printers

Epson which is a known name when it comes to digital imaging and printing solutions has expanded their InkTank printer portfolio. The new series of A4 WiFi printers includes 5 models namely L4150, L4160, L6170 and L1690. As per Epson the new series of InkTank printers will offer low printing costs at 12 paise for Black and White and 20 paise for Colour print outs.

With a sleek design, the new L-series printers are compact and integrate the InkTank into the printer. This comes as an improvement from previous models. The printers lower the total cost of ownership of businesses with the page yields of 7,500 Black and White pages and 6,000 color pages for each complete set of 4 ink bottles. The new models also offer the smallest footprint amongst all brands of InkTank printers

The new L-series InkTank printers come with auto-duplex print function which provides users up to 50% savings on paper cost, reducing running costs further. Epson is currently the only brand offering InkTank printers with auto-duplex function in the market. The price range for the new L-series printers starts from Rs. 15,000 onwards. The L4150 and L4160 have a warranty of 1 Year or 30,000 pages or whichever is the earlier. The L6160, L6170 and L6190 have a warranty of 1 Year or 50,000 pages, whichever is earlier.

The L4150 can print scan and copy with printing speed up to 10.5ipm/5.0 ipm. The print resolution of L4150 is 5760 x 1440 dpi(with vaariable-sized droplet technology). The scanning resolution of L4150 is 1200 x 2400 dpi and weighs at 5 kg.

The L4160 printer can print scan and copy and the printing speed of this model is Up to 10.5 ipm / 5.0 ipm, Duplex: 6.0 ipm / 4.0 ipm. The L4160 supports a resolution of 5760 x 1440 dpi (with Variable-Sized Droplet Technology) whereas the scan resolution is of 1200 x 2400 dpi. The printers weighs at 5.5 kg.

The L6160 printer can print, scan and copy with speed upto Up to 15 ipm / 8.0 ipm, Duplex: 6.5 ipm / 4.5 ipm. The L6160 supports a print resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi (with Variable-Sized Droplet Technology) and uses a scan resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi and weighs at 5.8 kg.
