Flipkart Billion ‘Made in India’ power banks launched for Rs. 799 and Rs. 999

Flipkart's Billion brand has come up with a couple of new power banks those are 'Made in India' and 'Made for India'. The company has launched power banks with 10000mAh and 15000mAh battery capacities. These products use Li-ion batteries and have inbuilt LED torch light as well. As the Billion brand belongs to Flipkart, these power banks will be available for sale exclusively via the online retailer's portal.

The Flipkart Billion 10000mAh power bank will be available in Black and Copper color variants and will be priced at Rs. 799. On the other hand, the Billion 15000mAh power bank will arrive in Black and Rose Gold color variants and will be priced at Rs. 999.

These new power banks from Flipkart have A+ grade high-energy density Lithium-ion batteries. It is claimed that the batteries will lose less than 3% to 4% of the total charge when in idle for a month. The company touts that these power banks are made with the intention to last longer and offer up to 500 charge and discharge cycles.

Notably, the 15000mAh power bank can charge a smartphone with 4000mAh battery capacity 2.5 times. These power banks come with 5V/2.1A USB out ports that can charge the devices twice as fast as the 5V/1A ports. The 10000mAh power bank has two 5V/2.1A USB out ports while the 15000mAh power bank has three such ports thereby offering multiple device compatibility to these accessories. In addition to these out ports, the two Flipkart power banks also have a 5V/2A input port too on board.

Talking about the features, there are LED battery level indicators on these power banks and safety features such as over and under voltage protection and temperature protection to prevent overheating when the devices are plugged in for charging. Moreover, it is said that the Flipkart power banks are 13% lighter than the other bestselling power banks in the market as the 10000mAh variant weighs in at 260 grams while the 15000mAh variant weighs in at 320 grams.
