Honor Plans To launch New Earphones Via Amazon India
Honor, a sub-brand of Huawei, is all set to launch a new product in the Indian market. The company has also shared a teaser on Amazon India. Besides, the company has shared some information about the upcoming product such as design and features. Here are the details.
The upcoming Honor earphones are expected to support high fidelity sound and feature a three-button control. It is also expected that the company will launch it under its AM115 half in-ear earphones category. Coming to the design, the teaser reveals that it will come with multiple vent holes to offer good audio.
Apart from that buyers will get a microphone along with these controls. The product is likely to feature plastic material, however, Honor has clarified that the plastic is certified as per the safety standard. The company is planning to bring these earphones in the coming weeks. In fact, buyers will see the 'Notify me' button on the Amazon page.
Honor Plans To Launch More Wearables In 2020
Meanwhile, the company is planning to launch more wearables in India. Notably, the company is looking at $2.3 billion revenue (Rs. 16,500 crore) in 2020. In addition, the report reveals that Honor is also working with local content providers for its upcoming Smart TVs. Apart from that, the company is planning to launch smart devices and the company will focus on wearables as the import duty is less on them.
"India is a huge market for Honor. In terms of launching smart devices, right now the company is focused on wearables because the import duty on them is less while on AI screens or smart TVs the duties are extremely high," Daniel Tan, Vice President of Honor Smart Life, was quoted by the news agency. He said, "To overcome this challenge, we would work on establishing our manufacturing unit or assembling the unit for AI devices in India
