Huawei FreeBuds 7i Specifications and Features
The Huawei FreeBuds 7i features 11mm quad-magnet dynamic drivers with support for a 20Hz to 40kHz frequency response range. The earbuds also offer dynamic EQ tuning and personalised audio profiles for a tailored listening experience.
For noise cancellation, Huawei has equipped the earbuds with Intelligent Dynamic ANC 4.0, which is claimed to deliver up to 28dB of full-band noise reduction with a response time of less than 0.5 seconds. Additional modes include Awareness Mode and Voice Mode, allowing users to stay aware of their surroundings without removing the earbuds.

Call quality is handled by a three-microphone setup, a bone-conduction microphone and AI-powered noise reduction technology. Huawei claims the system can maintain voice clarity even in environments with noise levels reaching 90dB.
The FreeBuds 7i also supports spatial audio with head tracking, although some features require Huawei devices running EMUI 10 or later. Other features include dual-device connectivity, automatic device switching, pop-up pairing, audio sharing and support for the Huawei AI Life and Audio Connect apps.
Battery life is rated at up to eight hours on a single charge with ANC disabled and up to 35 hours with the charging case. With ANC enabled, the earbuds offer up to five hours of playback and up to 20 hours of total listening time. A 10-minute charge is claimed to provide up to four hours of music playback.
Huawei FreeBuds SE 4 Specifications and Features
The Huawei FreeBuds SE 4 features 10mm dynamic drivers and supports SBC, AAC and mSBC audio codecs. Huawei says the earbuds were designed using data collected from more than 10,000 ear canal samples to improve comfort and fit.

The earbuds support active noise cancellation of up to 24dB, along with transparency mode, multiple ANC settings, low-latency audio synchronisation and four EQ presets. Users also get touch controls for playback management and switching between noise-control modes.
One of the biggest highlights of the FreeBuds SE 4 is battery life. Huawei claims up to 10 hours of playback on the earbuds with ANC disabled and up to 50 hours of total listening time with the charging case. With ANC enabled, the earbuds are rated for up to seven hours, while the case extends usage to up to 35 hours.
Additional features include Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, auto pairing, automatic reconnection, seamless device switching and manual pairing via the charging case button. Both the earbuds and the FreeBuds 7i carry an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, although Huawei notes that the FreeBuds SE 4 charging case itself is not water-resistant.
