Motorola just dropped two new pair of true wireless earbuds in India in the form of the Moto Buds and Moto Buds+. Launched in Europe in April, these earphones come with features such as Hi-Res Audio certifications, dynamic active noise cancellation (ANC) support, triple mic systems, and water-repellant designs.

They are designed to integrate seamlessly with the Moto Buds application, enhancing the user experience. Particularly noteworthy is the Moto Buds+ "Sound by Bose" feature, indicating a collaboration with the American audio giant for superior sound quality.

Moto Buds, Moto Buds+ Pricing and Availability in India

The Moto Buds are available at a price of Rs 4,999, with an instant discount of Rs. 1,000 for ICICI Bank credit card holders, reducing the price to Rs 3,999. They are available in Coral Peach, Glacier Blue, and Starlight Blue, with a Kiwi Green variant expected soon.

On the other hand, the Moto Buds+ are priced at Rs 9,999, with a Rs 2,000 discount for ICICI Bank credit card users, bringing the effective price to Rs 7,999. They are available in Beach Sand and Forest Grey colours. Customers can purchase both Motorola earbud models through Flipkart.

The Moto Buds are equipped with single 12.4mm dynamic drivers, while the Moto Buds+ boast dual dynamic drivers, consisting of an 11mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter. They offer noise cancellation capabilities, with the Buds supporting up to 50dB ANC and the Buds+ up to 46dB ANC.

They include three preset noise cancellation modes: Transparency, Adaptive, and Noise Cancellation. The Moto Buds+ also features Dolby Head Tracking and Dolby Atmos support, enhancing the audio experience based on the user's head movements.

Both models have achieved Hi-Res Audio certifications and come with triple mic systems for improved call clarity. They are compatible with the Moto Buds application, currently available on the Play Store, allowing users to customize touch functions and sound preferences. In terms of battery life, the Moto Buds offer up to 42 hours, while the Moto Buds+ provide up to 38 hours. Without ANC, playback time increases to nine and eight hours, respectively. Quick Charge offers up to two hours of playback for the Moto Buds and three hours for the Buds+ with just 10 minutes of charging.

Both models support USB Type-C charging, with the Moto Buds+ also supporting wireless charging. Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity is supported for a stable connection. The Moto Buds and their case weigh 36g, while the Moto Buds+ and their case weigh 42.8g, making both sets lightweight and portable.

The earphones are designed with durability in mind. The Moto Buds and Moto Buds+ charging cases are rated IPX4 for splash resistance. The Moto Buds+ earphones themselves have an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, ensuring they are suited for various environments.
