Nothing CMF Buds 2 Plus, Buds 2a, Buds 2 Affordable TWS Earbuds Launched in India
The CMF Buds 2a, CMF Buds 2, and CMF Buds 2 Plus TWS earphones have been introduced in India. These earphones boast active noise cancellation (ANC) capabilities of up to 50dB and promise a total battery life exceeding 61 hours when combined with their respective charging cases. They are compatible with the Nothing X app and support connectivity with two devices simultaneously.
The CMF Buds 2a are priced at Rs. 2,199, while the CMF Buds 2 and CMF Buds 2 Plus are available for Rs. 2,699 and Rs. 3,299 respectively. Purchases can be made through Flipkart in India. The CMF Buds 2a and Buds 2 come in Dark Grey and Orange colours, with the former also available in Light Grey. The Buds 2 offer a Light Green option, whereas the CMF Buds 2 Plus are offered in Blue and Light Grey shades.

CMF Buds 2 Series Features
The entry-level CMF Buds 2a feature 12.4mm Bio-Fibre drivers with Dirac Tuning. In contrast, the CMF Buds 2 are equipped with 11mm PMI drivers featuring Dirac Opteo tuning and N52 magnets. The premium CMF Buds 2 Plus come with 12mm LCP drivers that support LDAC and have Hi-Res Wireless Audio certification.
All three models include Wind Noise Reduction 3.0, Ultra Bass Technology 2.0, and call noise reduction features. The CMF Buds series supports Spatial Audio effects as well. The CMF Buds 2a have four HD microphones with Clear Voice Technology, while the other two variants boast six HD mic units each with Clear Voice Technology 3.0.
Battery Life and Charging
The cases for all three models contain a battery capacity of 460mAh. Each earbud of the CMF Buds 2a has a battery of 43mAh, while the other two versions carry a larger battery of 53mAh per earbud. Without ANC enabled, the CMF Buds 2a can last up to eight hours on a single charge or approximately 35.5 hours when used with the case.

A quick charge of just ten minutes provides up to five and a half hours of playback for the CMF Buds 2a. Meanwhile, the base model offers up to thirteen and a half hours on its own or fifty-five hours when combined with its case after a full charge.
Design and Connectivity
The design language of these new headsets is similar to that of the previously launched CMF Buds Pro 2 from July 2024 in India. They support dual-device connectivity and are compatible with the Nothing X app for enhanced user experience.
The entry-level model supports up to a maximum of forty-two dB ANC along with transparency mode functionality. The base version offers hybrid ANC up to forty-eight dB while the Plus variant provides smart adaptive mode ANC reaching fifty dB.
For those seeking durability against environmental factors like dust or splashes; both base & plus versions hold an IP55 rating whereas entry-level ones possess an IP54 rating instead.
In terms of latency performance, all members within this series deliver low-latency mode support capped at one hundred ten milliseconds ensuring seamless audio-visual synchronization during usage scenarios requiring precision timing such as gaming sessions or video streaming activities alike.
