Nothing Ear (3a) Teased Ahead of July 7 Launch: Confirmed to Come in 4 Colour Options
Nothing has confirmed its next pair of earbuds is on the way. The company posted a teaser for the Ear (3a) on social media, with a caption that reads "Only dating DJs this summer," alongside a launch date of July 7 at 11:00 BST, which works out to 3:30 PM IST.
The Nothing Phone (4b) is set to launch the same day, since the teaser was shot entirely on the unreleased device.

What the Teaser Shows
The video centers on a record-style graphic listing four colour options for the Ear (3a): White, Black, Yellow, and Pink. That's a wider colour spread than what Nothing has typically offered at launch for its earbuds lineup, and the DJ themed messaging suggests the marketing angle is leaning into music culture again, something Nothing has done with previous launches too.
Beyond the colourways and date, Nothing hasn't revealed pricing or specs for the Ear (3a) yet. Given the naming, it likely sits as a follow-up to the existing Ear (a) lineup, Nothing's mid-range earbuds positioned as a more affordable alternative to its flagship Ear series.
Nothing Phone (4b) Specs Have Already Leaked
While the Ear (3a) remains mostly under wraps, the Phone (4b) has had a steadier stream of leaks ahead of its own July 7 debut. Tipsters point to a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, a step down from the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 used in the Phone (4a). RAM is expected at 8GB, paired with 128GB and 256GB storage options.
On cameras, leaks suggest a 50MP primary rear sensor alongside a secondary lens whose exact specs haven't surfaced yet. Battery capacity has been reported anywhere between 5,400mAh and 6,000mAh depending on the source, with the higher figure tied to the Indian variant specifically.
The phone will retain Nothing's Glyph lighting strip and ship in Black, White, and Blue colourways with a plastic frame. Indian pricing is rumoured to fall under Rs 25,000, positioning it below the existing Phone (4a).
