Nothing Ear and Nothing Ear (a) Launch Set for April 18; What to Expect?

After teasing the arrival of a new audio product, London-based tech company, Nothing has officially confirmed that it will launch the Nothing Ear and the Nothing Ear (a) on April 18.

Earlier, the upcoming audio product was rumoured to launch as the Nothing Ear (3). Now, the brand has revealed that they are resetting its naming strategy, stripping back the numbers to center the focus around the product.

The brand took its official social media handle to confirm the arrival of both the Nothing Ear and Nothing Ear (a). It further stated that the ''two new products reflect the culmination of three years of design and innovation. What we envisioned from the start - premium for everyone that isn't about market price, but user preference''.

Nothing Ear and Nothing Ear (a): What to Expect?

As mentioned above, both upcoming audio products will be premium offerings. Although the features of the devices are still under wraps. We expect both devices will ship with a noise-cancellation feature.

It remains to be seen whether the Nothing Ear (a) will be cheap compared to the Nothing Ear. On the other hand, the Nothing Ear is expected to bring some upgrades over the existing Nothing Ear (2) that was launched in 2023.

The Nothing Ear (2) has an 11.6-inch dynamic driver and a sleek dual-chamber design. It also comes with active noise cancellation up to 40dB, a triple-microphone setup, USB Type-C and Qi wireless charging support.

For the unaware, Nothing is now selling three audio products - Nothing Ear (stick), Ear (1) and Ear (2). In February, a pair of wireless earphones were spotted on the BIS certification site with model number B162.

However, the BIS listing did not disclose any specifications of the TWS earphones. Since we are just around the launch, we expect the brand will reveal more details about the audio products in the coming days.
