The Ear (3) showcases a refined design while maintaining Nothing's distinctive look. The transparent casing reveals the intricate acoustic structure inside, enhanced by polished metal details. A custom Metal-Insulator-Metal (MIM) antenna, measuring just 0.35 mm thick, boosts total radiated power by 15% and signal sensitivity by 20%, ensuring robust connections compared to the previous model - Ear, released in April 2024.

The Ear (3) offers real-time adaptive noise cancellation with an upgraded 12mm dynamic driver for rich sound quality. A patterned diaphragm increases the radiating area by 20% over the previous model, enhancing bass response by 4-6 dB and treble by up to 4 dB, resulting in a wider soundstage with clear highs and rich mids.

The Super Mic system is central to Ear (3)'s innovation. Located in the charging case, this dual-microphone setup uses ambient-filtering technology to focus on your voice while reducing surrounding noise by up to 95 dB. Activating Super Mic is as simple as pressing the TALK button on the case, ensuring clarity during conversations.

The Nothing Ear (3) comes with a 55mAh battery in each earbud, giving up to 10 hours of listening on a single charge, or 38 hours with the case. A quick 10-minute USB-C charge adds 10 hours of playback, and wireless charging makes it even easier to power up.

With Bluetooth 5.4 and LDAC, the earbuds deliver clear, stable audio. A low-latency mode keeps delay under 120ms, perfect for gaming or watching videos. Pairing is simple too, with support for Google Fast Pair on Android, Microsoft Swift Pair on Windows, and iOS devices. The Nothing X app also lets users customize controls and access features like Essential Space or ChatGPT.

The Ear (3) will be available in black and white colour options priced at £179 / $179 / €179. Global pre-orders start on 18 September 2025 at nothing.tech and select partners, with open sales in certain regions beginning on 25 September 2025.
