Nothing Teases Transparent Nothing Phone 2 Charging Cable
Nothing is gearing up to launch its second ever smartphone next month. The Nothing Phone (2), as it is likely to be called, has been teased officially by the brand. The phone is expected to retain the core design of its predecessor and add new elements to it. The brand has also teased a few key specifications including the chipset. Now, co-founder Carl Pei has teased the charging cable design of the upcoming smartphone, dubbing it as 'nice'.
The charging cable will be bundled alongside the Nothing Phone (2). Pei teased the design of the cables, which as you guessed it, will sport the transparent cover.

Other than that, the Nothing Phone (2) is confirmed to feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and sport a 4700mAh battery.
Nothing Teases Transparent Charging Cable
In a move not usually seen while creating hype around a new launch, the Nothing CEO Carl Pei has showcased the charging cable in the build up to the launch of its second smartphone. The charging cable will sport a similar transparent design that has come to define all Nothing products. The USB-C cable has a transparent cover with a silver coloured USB port, which carries the Nothing branding. The cable is white in color and looks minimalist and straight out of Severance or Black Mirror, or at least, that's the first thought I had while seeing it.
Previously, the London-based company had teased the design of the smartphone along with its key specifications. The design teaser showed the Glyph interface on the rear with a new LED layout, while the teaser said it will feature the flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and a 4700mAh battery.
The company has also revealed the Nothing Phone (2) will feature a 6.7-inch display and will be powered by a revamped NothingOS. The company has promised three years of Android OS updates and four years of security updates.
