OnePlus Nord Buds 2 Specs Leaked Prior to India Debut

A few days ago, OnePlus confirmed that the successor to its affordable OnePlus Nord Buds, the aptly named OnePlus Nord Buds 2, will be released on April 4 alongside the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite.

Ahead of its launch, a few key specifications of the upcoming buds have leaked online, including support for fast charging, up to 25dB of ANC, a bigger battery, and much more.

The leak comes courtesy of Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings), who leaked the specs and a few images of the upcoming buds. According to the tip, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 will have up to 25dB of Active Noise Reduction (ANC), a quad microphone array, and 12.4mm dynamic titanium drivers.

The last spec about the titanium drivers seems to have been predicted correctly as OnePlus recently confirmed that the upcoming buds would include 12.4mm drivers. However, the number of microphones is still unclear.

In addition, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 have the same short stem and in-ear design as its predecessor.

In terms of the battery, the buds are said to last up to 36 hours on a single charge with the case, and there will also be support for fast charging. The company recently tweeted that the buds can be used for 5 hours on a 10-minute charge.

Finally, these buds are expected to come in two color options, Lightning White and Thunder Gray. The buds also have IP55 certification for dust and water resistance.

Because the first iteration of the OnePlus Nord Buds did not include ANC, having support for the feature in the Nord Buds 2 would be a great move by OnePlus, as the Nord Buds are aimed at the affordable segment, and having premium features such as ANC would undoubtedly catch people's attention.

Furthermore, the Nord Buds come with 30 hours of playback. So the fact that the Nord Buds 2 can have up to 36 hours of playback is a significant improvement.
