At this year's Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA) in Berlin, Germany, Philips has announced a range of new products to empower consumers to stay healthy and live well. The company's new product lineup comprises of Avent uGrow digital parenting platform, Air integrated solutions, Digital oral care management platform and others.
The company's uGrow digital parenting platform is designed to support parents and their baby's healthy development. It is said to be the first medical-grade baby app of its kind that works with connected devices to offer personalized advice to users.
The uGrow interactive app features articles and insights created with a panel of healthcare professionals. It connects wirelessly to the Philips Avent smart baby monitor and smart ear thermometer. More devices will be added in 2018. The uGrow user experience will be further enhanced by the addition of Amazon Echo voice activation later this year.
Coming on company's Air Integrated solutions, Philips has strengthened its range of integrated solutions of air purifiers and sensors. The accompanying Air Matters app (available in 52 countries) now provides real time insight into the indoor and outdoor air quality and allergen levels. These integrated solutions and data will help people suffering from respiratory difficulties to manage and reduce exposure to irritants and allergens (such as pollen, dust mite, pet dander and mold spores) that may trigger their symptoms, thus protecting their health.
Next in the product line-up is Philips digital oral care management platform. This comprises of Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Smart oral care solution for a healthier mouth. When combined with Philips Sonicare Breath care system, the platform offers unique connected technologies and services to inspire and empower people to take better care of their oral health in one platform. A per Philips, the DiamondClean Smart toothbrush brings together the latest in Philips Sonicare innovation and performance, giving users exceptional results with new, high performance brush heads, personalized coaching and guidance from smart sensor technology and an intuitive brushing experience.
The Philips Sonicare Breath care system, featuring Philips' new connected breath analyzer, measures, tracks and helps people address the impact of oral bacteria on breath quality, helping users to improve their breath and oral care habits.
Besides, the company also showcased new domestic appliances, coffee makers, personal care, and home monitoring solutions at the ongoing annual tech fest in Berlin.
