Pixel Buds Pro 2 Could Arrive in New Light Grey Shade at Made by Google Event
Google is gearing up for its Made by Google event on August 20, where it will unveil the Pixel 10 series. In addition to the new phones, the Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds are also expected to make their debuts. Now, a fresh leak hints that Google might introduce a new colour variant of the Pixel Buds Pro 2 at the event.
Pixel Buds Pro 2 Could Get a New Colour Variant
The new leak comes to the light via tipster Evan Blass, who posted official-looking renders on X (formerly Twitter). The images reveal the Pixel Buds Pro 2 in a new Light Grey shade. To recall, the earbuds were originally launched in Porcelain, Hazel, Wintergreen, and Peony colour options. This new colour variant appears to align with the upcoming Pixel 10 series colour.

Pixel Buds Pro 2 New Colour Variant - What to Expect?
Apart from the colour, the Light Grey variant is expected to retain the same set of specifications as the existing models. The Pixel Buds Pro 2 are powered by Google's custom-designed Tensor A1 chip, which not only enhances performance but also reduces the size of the buds by 27%, making them more compact and lightweight. The buds come with Active Noise Cancellation, which is now equipped with Silent Seal 2.0 technology.
The earbuds also feature an 11 mm driver, ensuring clear and balanced audio quality. For battery, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 delivers up to 8 hours of listening time with ANC enabled, and up to 30 hours when combined with the charging case. To learn more about the buds, read our full review here.
