Plantronics next-gen Voyager 3240 Bluetooth headset launched in India

Rashi Peripherals, India's Value Added Distributor (VAD) has just announced yet another Bluetooth headset from Plantronics. Dubbed as Voyager 3240, the "next generation headset" boasts of features like noise-cancellation technology, intuitive controls, and multi-device connectivity.

In any case, talking about some of the features of the new headset, Voyager 3240 gets a classic look while still maintaining a sleek form factor. The headset sports an in-ear design and comes with three sizes of silicone ear tips that ensure a discreet and long-wearing comfortable fit.

The headset ships with three precisely tuned microphones which reportedly separate background noise from a speaker's voice, thereby ensuring a seamless calling experience. The headset is also equipped with smart sensors which automatically answers an incoming call when a user puts on the headset. Further, the sensors can also transfer calls between the headset and a smartphone automatically based on a user's wearing state to truly deliver a hands-free calling experience.

The headset also features a dynamic mute alert that notifies users immediately if they are speaking while muted.
