PS4 Slim limited edition consoles now available for purchase in India

Sony India for the second time has decided to release the PS4 in a color that isn’t black.

Sony is now making the PS4 Slim Gold and Silver limited edition consoles available in India apart from U.S. And Europe. However, these new PS4 Slim Gold and Silver consoles will be available in limited numbers.

These new limited editions will most likely be available only via official offline retail Sony Centres in the country. So interested users might not find these editions on Amazon and Flipkart. The price for the console is Rs. 32,990 and will come with 500GB configuration. Interestingly, buyers will get an additional controller that matches the color of the console.

In any case, Sony is finally bringing more colored consoles in India with the new generation of PlayStations. This is, in fact, the second time the company is releasing other color models of PS4 other than black. Earlier the company has introduced Glacier White PS4 Slim.

Sadly, consumers won't be getting any games with the package. It's quite surprising and unusual as the company usually adds few games with the console for the consumers.

The standard black PS4 Slim 500GB model which is priced at Rs. 27,699 (on Flipkart and Amazon) comes with titles like Horizon Zero Dawn, Ratchet, and Clank, Driveclub. The consumers even get three months of PS Plus along with the console.

However, the only gain that the PS4 Slim Gold and Silver editions provide is that they are unique in terms of design and basically they stand out from the rest. Otherwise, everything like specs and gameplay is the same as the standard one.
