Samsung Announces Buds 3, Buds 3 Pro With Support for Ultra High-Quality Audio at Unpacked 2024

The Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 and the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro were launched at the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10 (today). The next-gen earbuds from Samsung come with a new stem design similar to the Apple AirPods Pro and Galaxy AI. Let's take a look at the Indian pricing and availability of the Galaxy Buds 3 series.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 and the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro Price in India and Sale

The Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 has been launched at Rs 14,999, while the Buds 3 Pro will cost Rs 19,999 in India. Both the earbuds are now up for pre-booking on the brand's official site and other e-commerce platforms, while the sale will begin on July 24. They come in White and Silver colours.

Users pre-booking the Buds 3/ Buds 3 Pro in India, will get a cashback of Rs 4,000 or an upgrade bonus worth Rs 4,000 on the Buds 3, while the Buds 3 Pro buyers can avail of Rs 5,000.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 has an open-type design with a one-way 11mm dynamic driver, while the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro have a two-way 10.5mm dynamic speaker with a 6.1mm Planar and features an in-ear type design.

They pack three microphones, voice pickup units, Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), and new Ultra High-Quality Audio with SSC codec. The Pro version also includes Ambient sound mode and Voice Detect feature, which can distinguish between noise and human voices.

Select Samsung phones like the Galaxy S24 series and newer foldables with One UI 6.1.1 or above, they offer ultra high-quality audio up to 24bit/96kHz. The Galaxy Buds 3 series supports Bluetooth 5.4 and an Auto Switch feature allows users to switch between two devices effortlessly. These earbuds are compatible with Android devices running version 10 or higher. They have an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance.

Each Galaxy Buds 3 earbud has a 48mAh battery, while their charging case packs a 515mAh battery. Without ANC, they provide up to five hours of music playback or up to 30 hours when combined with the charging case; however, this reduces to 24 hours when ANC is active.

The Pro model houses a slightly larger battery at 53mAh per earbud but shares the same charging case capacity of 515mAh. With ANC off, these earbuds can last up to seven hours on their own or up to 30 hours including the charging case; this reduces to about 26 hours when ANC is active.

Moreover, the Galaxy Buds 3 series incorporates several AI-based features including Interpreter mode for real-time translation and Voice Command for hands-free control over functions like playing or stopping music.
