Samsung Galaxy Buds Core TWS Earbuds India Launch Imminent Following BIS Certification: Report

Samsung is expected to launch a new pair of TWS earbuds soon, reportedly called the Galaxy Buds Core, which may succeed the Galaxy Buds FE introduced in 2023.

The Galaxy Buds Core was previously spotted on the FCC listing, revealing battery capacity and connectivity options. Now, in a new development, the earbuds have been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, hinting at an imminent launch.

Samsung Galaxy Buds Core Spotted on BIS Listing

The Galaxy Buds Core has been spotted (via 91mobiles) on the BIS listing with the model number SM-R410, while the charging case, bearing the model number EP-QR410, already received BIS certification last month. Though the BIS listing doesn't reveal much in terms of features, except for the imminent launch.

However, the earbuds have surfaced on the Nemko certification platform with the same model number. The listing identifies the product as a Samsung-branded Bluetooth headset. It also reveals the earbuds will pack a 200mAh battery, while the charging case will house a 500mAh battery.

Earlier, the FCC listing also highlighted support for dual-band Wi-Fi (up to 5.8 GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0+ connectivity. Apart from this, nothing is known at this moment. We expect the brand will soon start teasing the arrival of the upcoming Buds.

Now, Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy S25 Edge tomorrow (May 13) globally, including India. Following the launch, the smartphone will be available for purchase via Flipkart in the country.
