Samsung might showcase Airpod like headphones on Galaxy Note 8 Launch

Samsung may showcase its potential rival to Apple AirPods coinciding with the launch of Galaxy Note 8 and the wireless headphones will have support from Bixby.

Samsung might come up with a pair of wireless headphones similar to Apple's AirPods. If reports are true, Samsung will also integrate Bixby assistance with the product. The headphones may be released along side Galaxy Note 8 by the end of August.

The headphones will reportedly feature noise cancellation features. However, there are substantial challenges for Samsung to come up with a pair of headphones that perform in compatibility with Bixby. Samsung's virtual assistant still has a lot to learn and it is certainly not yet ready for providing a seamless experience. Samsung still needs to work on Bixby to raise the bar to Siri's or Alexa's level.

Recently there were also reports of Samsung working on a Bixby speaker, however, there is now word that the product has been declined.

Although, there is no official word on the accessories' launch date, and they may not come as soon as we expect them too. Since Bixby is yet in a very rudimentary phase as compared to Siri or Alexa.
Samsung may come up with an update focused at Bixby before it launches the accessory.

Apple on the other hand hopes for an increase in the sales of AirPods once the brand's latest smartphone flagship heads out in September. Recently, Apple also provided an upgrade to AirPods' functions.

AirPods retail for Rs. 14,999 in India and the headphones have received positive reviews throughout the globe for their simple and innovative design. It will indeed be a great to see a potential competitor of the technology from Samsung.
