Sennheiser ACCENTUM Open True Wireless Earbuds Launched in India: Check Price, Features, Specifications

Sennheiser has introduced the ACCENTUM Open true wireless open-ear earbuds in India, broadening its range of audio products. These earbuds are equipped with a custom 11mm driver that sits just outside the ear canal, providing clear sound and minimising ear fatigue. The open-ear design ensures comfort for prolonged use during activities like walking, making calls, and consuming media.

Each earbud weighs 4.4 grams and includes touch controls on the stems to manage calls, adjust volume, and control playback. They offer up to 6.5 hours of playback per charge, with the charging case extending total usage by an additional 28 hours. A quick 10-minute charge provides approximately 90 minutes of use.

Features and Connectivity

The earbuds come with Bluetooth 5.3 and multipoint connectivity, allowing seamless transitions between devices such as laptops and smartphones. Dual beamforming microphones enhance call clarity by reducing background noise. This feature is particularly beneficial for users who frequently switch between different gadgets.

The ACCENTUM Open earbuds support various profiles including A2DP, AVRCP, and HFP. They also accommodate SBC and AAC codecs for superior audio quality. The dynamic 11mm driver covers a frequency range from 25 Hz to 15 kHz with a sensitivity of 109 dB SPL.

Technical Specifications

Each earbud houses dual MEMS microphones with beamforming noise reduction technology. The battery life extends up to six hours per charge, while the charging case offers an additional 24 hours of usage. A full charge takes one hour, whereas a quick 10-minute charge yields one hour of playback time.

The earbuds have a battery capacity of approximately 36mAh each, while the charging case holds about 400mAh. They are water-resistant with an IPX4 rating, making them suitable for use in light rain or during workouts.

The total weight of the earbuds along with the charging case is around 38 grams. The dimensions measure at 51.77 x 50.18 x 25.36 mm for both the case and earbuds combined. Sennheiser offers a one-year warranty on this product.
