Sennheiser SoundProtex Plus Hearing Protection Earplugs Launched in India: Everything You Need to Know

Sennheiser has introduced the SoundProtex Plus in India, a hearing protection solution tailored for loud concerts, festivals, travel, and noisy settings. It ensures users enjoy clear, balanced sound while protecting their hearing. The ear tips are crafted from soft, medical-grade TPE, which is skin-friendly, reusable, and free from plasticizers. They come in three sizes to offer a secure and comfortable fit for prolonged use.

The SoundProtex Plus features a ventilated open-air passage that prevents the "plugged-ear" sensation, ensuring comfort during extended listening sessions. This product is durable and easy to maintain as it can be rinsed or wiped clean. A compact storage pouch is included for convenience during travel, concerts, study sessions, or relaxation.

Filter Options and Sound Protection

The SoundProtex Plus offers various filter options to cater to different environments. The high filter (SNR 20 dB) is suitable for loud concerts and motorsports. The medium filter (SNR 17 dB) is ideal for daily commutes or busy workplaces. For quieter environments, the low filter (SNR 10 dB) is recommended. Additionally, a full block filter provides complete silence, making it suitable for sleep or swimming.

Sennheiser's patented membrane filter technology ensures a flat attenuation response with the SoundProtex Plus. This feature keeps music detailed and conversations clear while safeguarding hearing. The earplugs are designed to fit comfortably within the ear canal with retention.

The Sennheiser SoundProtex Plus comes in three sizes: small (5–10 mm), medium (6–11 mm), and large (7–12 mm). Their weights are 1.1 g for small, 1.4 g for medium, and 1.6 g for large sizes respectively. The filters are made from PET, ABS, polycarbonate, and polyurethane materials.
