Skullcandy Crusher 1080 ANC Headphones Launched with Bose Audio: Check Price, Specifications, Features
Audio brand Skullcandy has introduced its newest premium wireless headphones, the Skullcandy Crusher 1080 ANC. These over-ear headphones combine Skullcandy's signature sensory bass with advanced sound technologies from Bose. The device is now available globally. It targets users wanting powerful bass and active noise cancellation.
At the core of the Crusher 1080 ANC is a unique dual-driver audio system. It features 36mm drivers that combine full-range audio with dedicated bass drivers. This system delivers Skullcandy's patented adjustable Crusher Bass experience. Users can adjust this bass level using a physical wheel or the companion mobile app.

Bose Audio Integration and Noise Cancellation
The new partnership with Bose brings highly regarded audio processing features to this premium headset. It includes Bose QuietControl Adaptive ANC, which uses a six-microphone system to block out ambient sounds. This technology offers multiple profiles. Users can switch between noise cancellation, transparency, and standard off modes.
Additionally, the headset integrates the Bose WaveForm Audio Engine. This technology maintains a balanced acoustic output with controlled bass response and clear highs. For phone calls, the headphones use Bose SpeechClarity, which significantly reduces ambient background noises. Users also get a natural voice sidetone feature to hear their own voice clearly.
The headphones also feature Bose TrueSpatial audio with dynamic head tracking. This hardware tracks head movements to maintain virtual sound positions relative to the listener. For connectivity, the device includes Bluetooth 5.3 with LE Audio and Auracast capabilities. Dual-device multipoint pairing and Google Fast Pair make connections simple across various devices.
Battery Performance and Global Availability
Battery performance is another major feature of these wireless over-ear headphones. The Crusher 1080 ANC offers up to 50 hours of playback with active noise cancellation enabled. Turning the sound isolation feature off extends the battery life to an impressive 60 hours. A quick ten-minute charge provides up to four hours of usage.
For convenience, the headset features wear detection sensors that trigger automatic playback pause. These collapsible headphones fold completely flat for storage inside the included roll-top travel bag. They also support low latency mode for lag-free audio during gaming sessions. A customisable five-band equaliser is available within the app.
The Skullcandy Crusher 1080 ANC is priced globally at USD 279.99, which converts to approximately Rs. 26,950. The brand offers the headphones in four distinct colours: Black, Candy, Primer, and Cement. The headphones are available on the official Skullcandy website, Amazon, and select retail outlets.
