Sony LinkBuds Clip Launched in India at Rs. 18,990 With Open-Ear Design and AI Call Clarity
Sony India has launched the LinkBuds Clip, a new pair of open-ear earbuds priced at Rs. 18,990. Available from July 13, 2026, on Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, select Croma and Reliance stores, Sony Centers, and Shopatsc.com. It comes in Green, Greige, Black, and Lavender.

Open-Ear Design and Listening Modes
The LinkBuds Clip uses an open-ear design that keeps your ears unblocked, letting you hear both your audio and your surroundings at the same time. Three listening modes can be switched with a double tap: Standard for everyday listening, Voice Boost for enhanced speech clarity in noisy environments, and Sound Leakage Reduction for shared spaces like offices and public transport where you don't want sound bleeding out.
Sound and Call Quality
Audio is handled by Sony's DSEE engine, which restores high-frequency detail lost during audio compression. For calls, the LinkBuds Clip uses dual microphones, a bone conduction sensor, and AI-based signal processing to isolate your voice and filter out background noise. The bone conduction sensor specifically picks up voice vibrations rather than relying entirely on the microphone, which Sony says improves clarity in noisy situations.
Battery, Fit, and Features
Total battery life is 37 hours, with 9 hours in the earbuds and 28 hours in the charging case. A 3-minute quick charge gives an hour of playback. The earbuds carry an IPX4 rating for sweat and splash resistance.
On the software side, the Sound Connect app includes a 10-band equaliser and scene-based listening that automatically adjusts based on activity like walking, running, or gym use. Google Gemini is also supported for hands-free assistance. Connectivity includes Fast Pair for Android and Swift Pair for Windows 10 and 11. Single earbud use is also supported.
