Sony’s latest USB OTG Pen drives can switch between your Standard USB and an USB Type C port
Sony has now launched a new OTG Pen drive with support for USB Type C ports. The pen drives from Sony comes with a matter silver finish and weighs around 5grams each.
With trends shifting towards USB Type C thanks to the presence of the latest gen port in many a recent smartphones, laptops, chromebooks; the launch of the new pen drive will be breath of fresh air for those who are looking for a storage device compatible with the same. In fact most you, who own a USB Type C port still use a USB Type C to Type A (Standard USB port) for using a pen drive or a charger.

The OTG Pen drive from Sony makes use of a USB 3.1 Gen1 standard port which permits data transfer speeds of upto 130MB/s. The pen drives are quite sleek and measure around 26.35x12.2mm in dimensions. Sony is also providing a Silicon cover from protection of the flash drives.
Sony OTG pen drives comes in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage capacities and will be available for sale starting February 2016. The Japanese company however, hasn't yet revealed the price of the devices.
