TP-LINK's new 450 Mbps router, TL-WR940N available on Flipkart for Rs. 2200


TP LINK launched the TL- WR940N, the latest 802.11n wireless router from the company that provides up to 450Mbps wireless connection when paired with other 802.11n wireless clients. The router has three antennas to ensure a a better coverage. The three antennas comes with MIMO and SST technologies for advanced wireless performance and has WPS button for WPA2 encryption thereby securing the connection from any type of intrusion.

Specifications of the TP LINK TL- WR940N

The Router provides a wireless speed up of up to 450Mbps (802.11n). The WPS button ensures a rather easy wireless security encryption. The 3 x 5dBi fixed omni directional antennas make the wireless connectivity more robust and stable. The antennas operate at a frequency of 2.4-2.4835GHz. The WDS Wireless Bridge helps to expand the wireless network by providing a smoother bridging.

The IP based Bandwidth Control allows administrators to determine how much bandwidth is allotted to each user. Live Parental Controls allow network administrators and parents to ensure that their kids are safe on the internet. This also ensures restricting access to any content that is not suitable for certain age groups. The router's firewall makes it more secure.
