Xiaomi Launches Compact 20000mAh Power Bank with Built-in Cable in India
Xiaomi has announced a new portable charger for the Indian market—the Xiaomi 20000mAh 22.5W Compact Power Bank. It includes a built-in USB-C cable and supports multiple device charging, which could be useful for people carrying several devices.
The product will be available starting July 10 via mi.com, Flipkart, and retail stores, priced at ₹1,799.

Designed for Daily Use
The power bank is aimed at users looking for something simple to carry but capable of charging more than one device at once. The built-in USB-C cable sits flush in the power bank's casing and can be used both for output (charging your device) and input (charging the power bank itself). This could save space for users who prefer not to carry extra cables.
At 342 grams, it isn’t the lightest option in the segment, but it includes a 20000mAh battery, which is large enough to charge most phones multiple times. The power bank has one USB-A port, one USB-C port, and the fixed cable, allowing up to three devices to be charged simultaneously.
The power bank will be sold in two finishes: Ivy Green and Dark Grey.
Charging Speed and Compatibility
Xiaomi says the unit supports 22.5W fast charging, which is enough to quickly charge smartphones and smaller electronics like earbuds or wearables.
However, it won’t match the speeds of higher-wattage fast chargers, especially for laptops or other power-hungry devices. Compatibility is fairly wide, with support for both USB-A and USB-C standards.

The inclusion of USB-C input means users can use their existing smartphone chargers to recharge the power bank. No wall adapter is included in the box, as is common with accessories in this price range.
Safety and Protection
The power bank includes 12-layer internal circuit protection, covering typical failure points such as short circuits, overvoltage, overheating, and electrostatic discharge. These are standard protections seen in most reputable power banks and help ensure safer operation during travel or overnight charging.
