YU Televentures eventually launched their duo of YU JYUICE power banks in India via Snapdeal. Coming in two variants -5000mAh and 10000mAh - the YU JYUICE power banks sports with an Aluminum Alloy body which prevents it from corrosion and rusting.
The new power banks from YU were first spotted on a Zauba import, has been priced rather competitively. While the 5000mAh YU JYUICE power bank retails at just Rs 699, the 100000mAh variant comes at Rs 1,099. The rectangular boxy shaped power banks are quite slim too with the 5000mAh variant tipping the scales at 7.9mm.
The 10000mAh variant is a little thicker though at 12.9 mm, but that was bound to be considering the larger battery on the inside. YU has additionally sandblasted the products for better durability.
The YU JYUICE power banks sports a multi-colored LED on the side, which is unlike most other power banks available in the market. The LED portrays three different colour for the following conditions - less than 30% red, less than 70% yellow and green when the charge is between 70%-100%.
Further the 10000mAh Power bank comes with two charging ports - 5V 2.4A and 5V 2.1A - unlike the Mi 10400mAh Powerbank available in the market. Both ports come with Fast Charging support. The 5000mAh variant though come with a single 5V 2.1A output port. The input for both the power banks is 5V 1A.
YU hasn't mentioned much about the battery used inside except the fact that it is a Li-Poly battery. The major competitors of the YU JYUICE power banks is the trusted trio from Xiaomi - 5000, 10400 and 16000mAh. While the 5000mAh Xiaomi power banks comes at Rs 100 less, the availability is an issue. The YU power banks on the other hand are available for open sale via Snapdeal.
