Facebook Messenger App Lets You Create Groups and Forward Messages
Facebook has been pushing a number of updates to its messenger app in recent times. Today the heavily used social networking site has updated the same Messenger app for Android and iPhone yet again to version 4.0. Just recently, Facebook Messenger for Android and iPhone also received voice calling feature in India that lets you make calls over WiFi and 3G/2G.

The update brings the group messaging options now. This is very much similar to other messaging applications like WhatsApp and Google Hangouts. Additionally you can name the groups you form as per your liking, a feature that's already available in WhatsApp. The update for the Android version started rolling out earlier this week, and now iOS devices have started receiving it from today.
There are new features which have been added as well. The new message forwarding feature will now let the the users forward any message to others who are not in the conversation. Also other improvements have been brought up by the update. The app now is faster and more reliable. You can now create Conversation Shortcuts to jump to any conversation right from your home screen as well, which is very much like WhatsApp.
