It was reported recently that Sony Xperia T, TX and V handsets would be receiving the Jelly Bean update during February and March 2013. While the release date appears to be still on track, reports have emerged recently that Sony Xperia T owners in the US have already started to receive Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OTA update.

 

Well, this seems to be a good news for many, as the update brings in various features of the handset with a variety of new enhancements. These enhancements are available for the mobile phones at the global level LT30p and also on specific models Xperia TL LT30at, available at AT&T in the United States.

According to the reports coming in, Xperia T has better battery life-time features, and the special benefits of project Butter. Among these is the home screen launcher which contains new wall papers. It also has new photo and video apps contents. There are special options to improve the audio quality. Despite all these new additions, the device has retained the look from ICSbased Xperia ROMs.

The new firmware is expected to be launched on the international version of the device 9.1.A.0.420. The device is being promoted to AT&T's model through its build number 9.1.F.1.64.

Further, Sony is also expected to release a 5-inch, handset with a high resolution in the coming weeks in Las Vegas very soon. The device will also feature the Android 4.1.2 software and rumored to be Xperia Z. Sony is enthralling its users with a whole new range of phones and exciting features.
