Google Babel Screenshots Leaked: To Come Integrated With Gmail
Last month there were rumors about, Google coming up with a new messenger service that will unify he company's messaging platforms into a single service. Google Bable is said to combine chat, video call and file sharing capabilities offered by separate messenger services of Google, into a single single unified service.
Techradar has managed to get it hands on some screenshots of the revamped messenger service, from a Googler, which confirms that the service is on the way. According to the screenshots the messenger service introduces a more thread based messaging layout with thumbnail images, rather then a traditional text-based one. Also, the messenger service will come integrated with Google+ along with along bunch of new emoticons
According to the screenshots, photos can be sent on Google Tak, using Google + accounts. Also, one of the screenshots, which shows a feedback option, with status message saying " What do you think about Babel in Gmail?", suggesting that messenger service will be included with Gmail. Off course the screenshots also reveal a number of new and expressive emoticons featured in the upcoming service. All and all the Google Bable, looks to bring a livelier and more interactive messenger interface.
Like Gizbot mentioned earlier the app version of the messenger service is expected to come integrated with Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. For now there is no news on when the service might be made available with Gmail
