Google Starts Rolling Out Android Lollipop 5.0.2 Update
Previously, Google rolled out the Lollipop update 5.0.1 with a build number LRX22C for some bug fixes like Wi-Fi bug, SMS bug, battery issue, lagging, crashing, the app switcher bug and others to selected Nexus devices like Wi-Fi only variant Nexus 7 (2013), Nexus 9, and Nexus 10.
Now reportedly, Google has recently released yet another version of Android Lollipop, 5.0.2, however the company has published a firmware image for only one device in its Nexus family.

Yes, the Android 5.0.2 update is currently coming on the Wi-Fi version of Nexus 7 and will be available to other Nexus devices, particularly the Nexus 4, once it has been released over-the-air using SimpleAOSP ROM (Build 7). This can be achieved by following these basic instructions.

The new update can be downloaded through these links including SimpleAOSP ROM (version 1), SimpleAOSP ROM (version 2) and Gapps.
Lately,Google was already in news for the memory leak issue on Lollipop causing apps to crash suddenly and making device's memory full. A member from Google, marked the issue for 'Future Release' indicating that the company was unable to roll out a fix-update for this bug with the recent Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update.
The apps crashing issues are mostly faced by the Nexus device owners especially Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7, and Nexus 9. The most noted issue by this bug is that apps crashing in the background with persistent notifications. Several users had suggested that the only way to fix the issue is by restarting the device.

This recent update from Google has refreshing notification system. It allows the users to see the notification in the lock screen and heads up notification are displayed like banners on the top of the screen. Further, there is do-not-disturb feature also added in the notification bar. It also used the three dimensional stack of card like design to represent the application. Lollipop update also focuses on battery optimization, which includes battery saver mode, job scheduling and a new developer tool called Battery Historian which tracks the battery consumption by the apps.
