Samsung Z1 Leaks: Tizen Smartphone Set for India Launch on January 18

After a series of setbacks , Samsung is now all set to release its Tizen-based smartphone in the Indian Market. Carrying a model name SM-Z130H, this Samsung Z1 will come preloaded with its home baked Operating system called Tizen.

According to The Korean economic daily, Z1 will be released on Jan 18, 2015 in India and will be priced less than $90 (Rs. 5,691 approx).

Samsung Z1 Specifications:

Samsung Z1 is an entry-level smartphone, featuring a 4-inch display with a resolution 480 x 800 pixels. As hinted, it is being clocked by a 1.2GHz dual-core Spreadtrum processor alongside 512MB of RAM.

Z1 is equipped with 3.2MP rear camera and VGA front camera. Coming to the connectivity factor it supports 3G, Wi-Fi, and dual SIM capabilities.

Apart from India, the South-Korean giant Samsung is planning to introduce Z1 smartphone in China by Feb 2015 and in Korea by the first half of next year.

Samsung plans to sell Tizen Smartphone via online retail stores and existing sales network.
