By Gizbot Bureau

Swiftkey has rolled out an upgrade of its Swiftkey Beta application for Android devices to version 4.0.0.76. The new update brings along with it a plethora of new features such as better predictions, new languages and easier corrections. The new version also features the Berry theme that had been released for Swiftkey 3.1 and upwards. The app for Android was launched during the last month.

Swiftkey Flow Beta version 4.0.0.76 incorporates predictions in most places now. The same is true for Flow as well. There are a few exceptions where the app does not have its reach such as passwords, e-mail fields, places where the app cannot utilize Swiftkey, fields in Android versions which incorporate their own corrections etc.

The corrections are also easier now since a tap on the word will display three possibilities of the correct word. The new languages offered in the updated Swiftkey Flow Beta version are Bosnian, Javan, Vietnamese, Albanian and Sundanese apart from those that have been added in the version 3.1.

Several other features from 3.1 are available in this update such as the Berry theme, split landscape layout in the phones, such as Georgian, Azerbaijani, Hindi, Hinglish, Armenian, Macedonian, Tagalog and Spanish. New layouts for Russian and Hindi have also been provided and fixes on the Ukrainian layout has been carried out.

Backspacing to the last word in multi word prediction will offer better alternatives now. The updated version can infer the typing style rather than through a setting. On long pressing delete, the deletion of words will be accelerated after deleting the first word.

The update is also accompanied by several bug fixes. Swiftkey Beta Flow application for Android tablets and smartphones can be downloaded from Swiftkey Website.
