WeChat 6.0 Introduces New Sight Feature to Instantly Capture Videos On-The-Go

WeChat, the popular messaging application has today announced its latest 6.0 version for the Android and iOS users. Users can take their WeChat experience to the next level with the new video capturing feature, Sight.

This feature allows users to shoot a quick 6-second video clip and share instantaneously with their friends through Moments or chats making conversation more exciting and fun. Additionally, the new update has also introduced an improved design, and is now iOS 8 compatible.

Sight Feature

WeChat users can now share funny and exciting moments of their lives through Sight. In order to use this feature, users simply have to pull down the screen on their main WeChat chats tab to view the Sight screen. Press and hold the video icon to record and release to send.

After creating the video, users have to select the recipient of the clip, or users also have the option to post it on to Moments.

While in the chat screen, tap the "+" button and then select the Sight button to begin. Sight videos are seemlessly integrated into the social communications experience and will automatically play while connected on 3G or WiFi.

In addition to the brand new Sight feature, WeChat 6.0 gives users several visual enhancements, including a new easy to access sticker button in chats for Android, a new tab bar for iOS, and full iOS 8 compatibility.

WeChat is available free for download on Android, BlackBerry, iOS, Symbian and Windows operating system.
