5 Easy Steps to Hide WhatsApp Images & Videos From Your Phone’s Gallery

WhatsApp directly downloads the images and videos to the phone. As a result, all these files will be available in the phone's gallery. There will be times at which we don't want others to see those images and videos. But, how to hide them from the gallery?

Fret not! We have a solution. Here's a step-by-guide to help you know how to hide all the images and videos from the phone's gallery.
Step 1: Open the 'file manager' app on your phone. Do note that it's not mandatory to open the default file manager, you can use third-party apps like ES file explorer also.
Step 2: Next look for the WhatsApp media folder in your file manager and open it. If you are having trouble to find the media folder, this is its location, Home > sd card > WhatsApp > Media.

Step 3: Now, look for the WhatsApp images folder inside the Media folder.
Step 4: Rename the WhatsApp images folder. Put a dot (.) before it or rename it to '.nomedia'
Step 5: That's it! Your phone gallery no more displays the WhatsApp images and videos folder. If they are still visible, clear the cache memory of gallery app and check once again.
